What wax do you use?
100% American-grown soy wax with cotton wicks. No paraffin, no lead, no synthetic stabilizers.
Are your fragrances clean?
Yes. All our fragrance oils are phthalate-free and IFRA-compliant. We blend them with essential oils where the scent allows.
How long do the candles burn?
Our 8 oz jars burn for 45–55 hours when wicks are trimmed to ¼ inch before each light.
Do you ship internationally?
Right now we ship to the U.S. and Canada only. International is coming in 2026.
How fast do orders ship?
Within 2 business days from our workshop in Chuckey, TN. Most U.S. orders arrive in 4–7 days.
Can I return a candle if I don't like the scent?
Yes. Unburned candles can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. See our Returns page for details.
Do you do custom or wholesale orders?
We do. Email contact@oshusstore.com with your idea or quantity and we'll get back to you within a day.
Are the jars reusable?
Please. Wash with warm soapy water once the candle is finished and they make wonderful little vases or pencil cups.
What does 'Oshus' mean?
It was my grandfather's nickname. Long story.
